Orius was present at the Cosmetic 360 tradeshow

Cosmetic 360 is a major international tradeshow organized by Cosmetic Valley, dedicated to promoting innovation and collaboration across the cosmetics industry. We were thrilled to be featured within Capsum Campus and to present a conference on the theme of prediction.

Held every year at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, Cosmetic 360 has become a landmark event for the entire cosmetics ecosystem.
This year, Orius had the opportunity to showcase its innovations at this prestigious tradeshow. Thanks to our partner Capsum, and its corporate venture fund and startup studio Capsum Campus, we were featured alongside three other innovative startups: Credido, Solifeel, and Næmos.

We are deeply grateful to Capsum—a decisive partner since the very beginning of our journey—for this opportunity and its expertise, trust, and continued support.

Innovation at the core of the tradeshow

Throughout the event, we had the pleasure of meeting numerous experts, partners, and industry leaders.

With over 260 exhibitors and 5,800 participants from more than 70 countries, Cosmetic 360 offered a unique platform to exchange ideas and showcase innovation.

The tradeshow’s motto, “innovation,” truly came to life through open and stimulating discussions about how our respective technologies can contribute to shaping the cosmetics of tomorrow.

Conference Orius x Næmos

During the event, Paul-Hector Oliver, CEO of Orius, and Estelle Loing, CEO of Næmos, had the privilege of co-presenting a conference titled:

“Designing Bioactive Ingredients: Predicting and Unlocking Plant Potential through Precision Indoor Farming.”

Orius and Næmos share a common vision: indoor farming is a powerful platform to reveal the inner potential of plants.

  • Orius develops technologies to precisely modulate environmental conditions. By combining its expertise in plant science and predictive modeling, the company stimulates the production of bioactive molecules in plants.
  • Næmos then leverages this optimized biomass to design and develop high-performance, effective cosmetic active ingredients.

During the session, they demonstrated how predictive models guide their research to enhance both bioactive compound content and plant yield.

Using the development of Isatis tinctoria extract, one of Næmos’ upcoming cosmetic actives, as a case study, they illustrated how plant research and innovation merge to create the next generation of cosmetic active ingredients.

About Orius

At Orius, we design a new generation of botanical ingredients that meet the key challenges of naturality, traceability, and performance in the beauty, wellness, and food industries.

By leveraging controlled-environment agriculture, we create a powerful research platform to create exceptional botanical ingredients. The innovations developed in our laboratories are then transferred into optimized production models.

Orius supports its clients at every stage of their projects, helping them achieve 3 key objectives:

  • Secure the supply of critical, rare, or endangered botanical raw materials.
  • Innovate by creating exclusive plant-based ingredients and natural alternatives to key molecules.
  • Anticipate the impact of climate change by developing predictive models capable of estimating the evolution of phytochemical composition and plant yields.
